As reported in our news page in November 2009, Stuart Well Services (part of Stuart Group Ltd) were approached by Mr. Azar Hussain, Trustee and Director of Water for Africa to donate supplies and drilling materials for the drilling of water-wells in poor areas of the Gambia. We are pleased to announce that several projects have just been completed in various rural villages suffering from endemic poverty and lack of safe, clean drinking water.
Through our combined efforts, villages such as Busura, Missara, Kinifing and Gunjar, now have a water-well giving them, for the first time, clean safe drinking water. We would also like to acknowledge the ongoing efforts of Water for Africa who have now drilled in excess of 90 bore-holes to various depths, all of these wells have been installed and are lined with (WRAS) Approved uPVC liners supplied by S.W.S.
Stuart Well Services would also like to thank again both Direct Materials Supplies Enviro Ltd and Clear Solutions Ltd for their donations, additional support and expertise given free of charge, and all of us offer our continued support to Water for Africa.
