We are pleased to announce that all of the warehouse staff who participated in the recent NVQ Level 2 in Warehousing & Storage have successfully completed and "Passed" the course.
The NVQ is a work-orientated qualification which is set around the normal day to day work carried out by our Warehouse Operatives and deals with the safe and efficient receipt, movement, storage, handling and dispatch of well materials.
The course was overseen by Mr Mark Yorkston of City College Norwich, both in the classroom and on the shop-floor, with each Warehouse Operative being assessed in both the written and physical aspects of their work.
Gaining the qualification has had a very positive impact on all the warehouse staff who participated in the scheme; they now take greater pride in their work and have a more involved and self assured understanding of their roles and responsibilities, not just within their department but in the Company overall, to the point whereby they are bringing ideas to the forefront with confidence.
