Acquisition of Power4 and fox&cooper

Stuart Group has acquired the assets and order book of Power4 - fox&cooper Ltd.

Based in North Killingholme, Fox & Cooper were founded in 1976, and as recently as 2008 had won prestigious business awards. Specialists in generator rental including equipment designed for the hazardous areas of Oil Refinery shutdown maintenance, Power4 - fox&cooper had become a high profile victim of the lingering recession.

The North-Lincolnshire based company will increase Stuart Group coverage particularly in Eastern England, but also throughout the UK. Through this increased presence of the Group, service levels will be enhanced for all of our customers, both existing and new.

At the outset of this new venture, key operational staff have been recruited at the North Killingholme location to ensure that our service levels and commitment to quality continue to satisfy customer needs, whilst financial and administration issues will initially be addressed from Head Office in Norfolk.

Retention of the trading name and existing premises are seen as Stuart Group’s commitment to existing customers, whilst it is our intention to further develop the business to deliver and exceed customer expectations.
